Nike Force I -- Classic

                 

The classic Air Force 1 is just that, a classic. There's very few high schoolers that don't own at least one pair and if you're a sneakerhead then your collection is not complete without a pair of these. No matter if its the most famous black or white or even a revamped version of the classic comfortable shoe.
The Air Force 1 are distributed in three different styles; low, mid and high. The Nike Air Force 1s were first considered the shoe of the youth, then artists and ball players.
Rapper Nelly and his group even came out with the 2002 single entitled "Air Force Ones" about the shoes so that's how you know they're a pretty legit pair of shoes.

Phat Farms -- A definite "NO-NO" in 2011

                

Smh (Shake My Head), Phat Farms are just not in anymore. I can't stress enough how hard I laugh when I see someone wearing some of these. Yes, I did have a pair..... IN 6TH GRADE. We don't wear these anymore.
The largest pair of shoes I've owned, Phat Farms are extremely wide. I need to get some laughter out because I really cannot hold it in anymore. Okay here. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That felt good, anyways.....
Jordans are the new Phat Farms, literally. I'm pretty sure every girl in my 6th grade English class had a pair of Phat Farms cuz they were just that cool.
The only memory of Phat Farms are when I broke my ankle in 6th grade, I told you they were the SHI******.. Everyone had em.. Back to my story, when I broke my ankle they had to cut my shoe off because my foot had swelled to the size of a basketball. I was wearing these exact Phat Farms in the picture, but I had sparkly laces and I remember being SOOOO upset because they cut my shoe. RIGHT. DOWN. THE. MIDDLE. UGHHH!
To sum it all up, in 2011, Phat Farms are not the shoes to be caught wearing because if you're caught by me, I will laugh - and laugh hard.

Air Max's -- The "New" Nike

The Air Max's are making a splash. I see them all the time here at East. Football players, cheerleaders and even the occasional nerd. Yes, you read that right. Even nerds are wearing Air Max's but I don't blame them. Air Max's are comfortable, they provide a gentle lift in your step and they come in all different colors which is nice to match your outfit of choice.
Personally, the first time I saw them on the shelf at Foot Locker, I thought to myself, "Eww." They eventually grew on me ever since something possessed me to try them on and I even bought a pair!
I call them the "new" Nike because looking around at people's feet, I don't see many pairs of Air Forces or Dunks. If they aren't the classic forces, 87.4703847% of the time, someone at East is wearing Air Max's.
Being stylish, comfortable and athletic, I don't blame them. I love my pair of Max's and I plan on getting more. See picture :)

           

Bordeaux 7's -- The Dream

              The biggest release of the 2011 Jordan world is here. The Bordeaux 7's are probably the most hyped shoe since the first Jordan. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but hey, it's a big deal for us sneakerheads. The Bordeaux 7's are a dream shoe and if you don't have them, you're gonna be losing cool points.

A lot of 'SneakerHeads' I know got theirs a little early than most. Nicekicks.com has many presale orders from quite a lot of my friends that will be placing their early order. You can still order them online but most shoe stores are also selling them. In other words, the new Bordeaux 7's are a musthave shoe.

Ken Griffey Jr's -- Griffeys

                               

Griffeys, a complete surprise to me but I think I may have fallen in love. Ahh, a Nike shoe that has vibrant colors and ISN'T a low top dunk. Classic, yes but just not for me anymore. The Griffeys even make me taller, HECK YEAH! That's always a plus for us height challenged people.
Even though the Griffeys have been around since '98, they have just recently became very popular among kids I know. The Griffey shoe sells for around $135.00 depending on what size, style and where you get them from.
Nike Air Griffey Max's are more than just a training shoe now. Griffeys are always being bought for style, comfort and it's original purpose, to make you a better athlete.
